    15 Oct 2026 - Planning, Manifests & Daily Operations

    Release Date: October 15, 2026

This release adds staff tank counts, a dedicated tank management panel and trip end times with improved overlap checks. It also improves manifest columns, meal summaries, registration updates and customer exports, alongside updates for liveaboard partners and booking widgets.

Customizable planner columns and improved manifest controls

Section titled “Customizable planner columns and improved manifest controls”

You can now choose and reorder columns in the planner, including the new payment status column.

The day manifest’s column editor has also improved, with search, filters and easier column ordering.

Staff tank counts, a new tank panel and improved meal summaries

Section titled “Staff tank counts, a new tank panel and improved meal summaries”

Staff tank counts are now included alongside guest tanks in the trip totals. A new dedicated tank management panel lets you review and adjust guest and staff tank allocations in one place.

Mismatch warnings help you spot quantities that need attention. Use Match all for the eligible guest or staff allocations you want to update; mixed allocations need individual review.

Eligible guide tank defaults account for the trip’s dive sites. Dry or rest trips and non-diving guide roles do not receive automatic diving tank quantities. If you explicitly save a staff member with no tanks, that choice stays empty.

When the diet column is displayed, trip food summaries bring guest and staff requirements together. They show meal counts, dietary preferences, people bringing their own food and missing answers. Guests are counted once per trip, and people bringing their own food are excluded from the meal count.

Trip end times and improved overlap checks

Section titled “Trip end times and improved overlap checks”

Trips now have end times, and Diversdesk automatically checks for overlapping participant assignments. Confirmed overlaps are blocked; when missing end times leave a possible conflict, you are asked to confirm before continuing. The scheduling dialog also makes it clearer whether you are moving someone or adding another trip.

Trip and staff filters, calendar opening and staff counts have been refined. Removing a trip from a participant’s schedule also removes it from the pending selection.

When the final guest assigned to an instructor or divemaster is removed from a trip, the unused guide assignment is cleared. This keeps staffing, food and tank totals in line with the remaining guests. Captain and crew assignments are preserved.

After changing a registration form, you can preview and update eligible upcoming or ongoing bookings and guest registrations that still use an older version of that form. This reduces the need to update each one separately. Cancelled bookings and bookings with an open checkout payment are excluded.

Options for updating existing registrations to the latest onboarding journey

Customer CSV exports now include all customers matching your filters, rather than only the page currently displayed. Exports include certification, activity names and activity counts, with improved support for accented characters in Excel. Cancelled bookings are excluded from activity filtering and totals.

Unsaved-change protection and complimentary items in sales reports

Section titled “Unsaved-change protection and complimentary items in sales reports”

The affected side panels now ask for confirmation before discarding unsaved edits and prevent closing while a save is in progress. Closing the top panel also leaves the panels underneath in place.

Sales reports now show zero-priced items when a sale or participation quantity has been recorded, so complimentary items remain part of your operational reporting.

Updates for Connected Services and Liveaboard Operators

Section titled “Updates for Connected Services and Liveaboard Operators”

These changes apply when you use the relevant integration or booking workflow.

New guide to partner booking and payment responsibilities

Section titled “New guide to partner booking and payment responsibilities”

Authorized booking partners can open a guide for their operator connection explaining who approves bookings, who collects deposits and balances, and who receives booking and payment notifications.

Opt-in Scubadates sharing with destinations and onboard fees

Section titled “Opt-in Scubadates sharing with destinations and onboard fees”

Liveaboard operators can opt in to sharing trip information with Scubadates, including availability, cabin prices, itineraries, requirements, destinations and onboard fees.

Trip templates support up to three Scubadates regions and itemized per-person onboard fees, including currency and notes. Sharing must be enabled for the establishment.

Improved language matching in the liveaboard booking widget

Section titled “Improved language matching in the liveaboard booking widget”

The liveaboard booking widget follows its configured language or the host website’s language and keeps that choice as guests move through the booking flow.

Supported interface translations include browsing, cabin selection and checkout, with localized dates and prices. Translated trip and activity content appears where those translations have been configured; otherwise, the original text remains visible.
