29 Jun 2026 - Refunds Handling

Release Date: June 29, 2026

Today’s live release is headlined by refund handling directly inside Diversdesk, including refunds for payment gateway payments.

Alongside that, this release also includes more flexible reminder emails, an updated Xendit checkout experience, plus several booking, planning, surcharge, and webshop workflow improvements.

Refund flows are now available inside Diversdesk itself. This includes payment gateway refunds, so you can manage the refund process directly from the dashboard instead of depending on a separate back-and-forth workflow outside Diversdesk. For teams handling customer changes, cancellations, or corrections, this makes refund handling much more practical and much easier to stay inside one operational flow.

Faster scheduling and rescheduling on the planner

Section titled “Faster scheduling and rescheduling on the planner”

Scheduling work on the planner has been improved to make booking changes feel quicker and less frustrating during day-to-day operations. This applies both when building new schedules and when adjusting existing ones, helping your team move through planning tasks with fewer interruptions.

Surcharge behavior has been refined so pricing results are easier to understand and more consistent in edge cases. This helps reduce confusion when reviewing totals and makes it easier to trust what you see during booking changes.

Better control over webshop day availability

Section titled “Better control over webshop day availability”

You now have better control over which days are made available in the webshop. This makes it easier to manage when customers can book online and helps align the booking flow more closely with real operational availability.

Tiered pricing behavior has been improved for activity day setups, making this area easier to work with when your pricing depends on how activities are spread across days. This should make setup and review more straightforward for more complex offers.

The Xendit checkout has been updated to the latest version.

This brings a small UI refresh from Xendit itself, giving guests a cleaner payment step while keeping the overall checkout flow familiar. In practice, this means the payment experience now looks a bit more modern without changing how your team works with Xendit inside Diversdesk.

This update also introduces an automatic 24-hour expiration for created payment links. If a customer opens a payment link after it has expired, Diversdesk will automatically generate a new one so they can still continue to checkout and pay the outstanding amount.

You can now set up more than one reminder email from Settings > Notifications.

This gives you more flexibility in how and when reminder emails are sent, and it also makes it easier to add more personalized text to the messages your customers receive.

A ‘Done’ button is introduced where a participant/guest that signed up/checked out using a shared-tablet can end their session and return the tablet to the next guest. This prevents the next guest from accidentally seeing the previous guest’s information.

Clearer day-card warnings during activity editing

Section titled “Clearer day-card warnings during activity editing”

Warning messages shown while editing activities now better reflect the actual situation on the selected dates. In practice, this means that moving away from a past date could still trigger a warning based on the old date, even when the newly selected date was in the future. The warning now better reflects the actual new selection, making activity editing feel more logical and less confusing.
