Webshop

Use the Accommodation Webshop page to review and manage how room and stay bookings work in the public shop.

This page is the customer-facing booking surface for accommodation.

The Accommodation tab is shown publicly when accommodation mode is set to Checkout.

Managers can still access the page internally when accommodation is enabled, even if it is not currently exposed as a public checkout tab.

Customers can use this page to:

  • Choose dates for a stay
  • Choose the number of guests
  • Review room types
  • Check availability
  • See stay pricing for the selected dates
  • Add accommodation to cart

For standard accommodation booking, customers select a date range from the date picker.

If your accommodation setup uses fixed departures mode, the page switches to a departure selector instead of a normal date-range picker.

In that case, the selected departure controls:

  • Start and end dates
  • Duration
  • Departure information shown in the hero area

Availability is date-dependent.

If no dates are selected yet, the page prompts the customer to choose dates before checking room availability and pricing.

Once dates are selected, Diversdesk uses the selected stay period to:

  • Evaluate availability
  • Calculate pricing
  • Show which room types can still be booked

If the customer already has accommodation reservations in the cart, the page also shows a notice so they can review those selections.

The Accommodation Webshop page can display a rotating hero banner at the top.

These images are managed from Shop Settings. If multiple images are uploaded, they rotate automatically.

What the customer sees here depends on your accommodation setup, including:

  • Room types
  • Room availability
  • Price rules
  • Accommodation mode
  • Published booking window logic

Use this page to check whether the public stay-booking flow behaves the way you want before sending customers to it.
