Webshop
Use the Retail POS Webshop page to review and manage how retail products appear in the public online shop.
This page acts as the customer-facing retail catalog and product-detail flow.
When This Tab Is Visible
Section titled “When This Tab Is Visible”The Retail tab is shown publicly when retail mode is set to Checkout.
Managers can still access the page internally when retail is enabled, even if the public checkout tab is not currently exposed to customers.
What Customers See
Section titled “What Customers See”The Retail Webshop can show:
- A hero banner at the top of the page
- Product categories and sub-categories
- Featured products
- Brand filters
- Product detail pages with variant selection
Only products with active product variants are shown in the retail webshop.
Product Detail Behavior
Section titled “Product Detail Behavior”On a product detail page, customers can:
- Review product images
- Choose available color and size combinations
- See the product price
- Add the selected item to cart
This makes the public retail flow variant-aware instead of showing only one flat product record.
Internal Staff/Manager Use
Section titled “Internal Staff/Manager Use”When the Retail Webshop is used internally rather than as a pure customer view, it can also support booking-connected sales flows.
Depending on context, staff can:
- Add a retail item directly to an existing booking/order
- Create a new order from the retail item flow
Managers can also access edit and cleanup-related controls outside customer view.
Category and Featured Behavior
Section titled “Category and Featured Behavior”Category setup affects how customers browse the catalog.
Featured items are shown separately on the main retail shop view, helping you surface priority products before a customer drills into a category.
Hero Banner Images
Section titled “Hero Banner Images”The Retail hero banner is managed from Shop Settings.
If multiple images are uploaded, they rotate automatically on the public page.
What This Page Depends On
Section titled “What This Page Depends On”The Retail Webshop reflects setup from your retail catalog, especially:
- Products
- Variants
- Categories
- Brand values
- Featured flags
Use this page to verify that your public retail offer matches the stock and product presentation you want customers to see.
